The Republic Day is an national festival celebrated in India with happiness, which is celebrated every year on January 26 after independence and on this day India was declared a democratic, Republic country. History and Importance of Indian Republic Day
The main reason behind celebrating Republic Day is that there is a Constitution made in India after 2 years 18 months and 11 days and on this day the Indian constitution was applicable.- On January 26, 1950, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, took the oath of office in the government house.
